my sweet nasty lunacy | Hélène Vrijdag / STUDIO SIBLING | September 25
my sweet nasty lunacy is a solo by Hélène Vrijdag: a live EP where her alter ego Woman Folly takes the mic. The concert is a collection of hyperpop bangers as an ode to the hysterical femme. In her arena with nothing but moving lights, concert conventions and the voices in her head, Woman Folly sings her soft setlist from sweet sweet hell.
“Am I mad, or am I just angry?” “There’s always us in uterus”

Urlaub Revisited | Urland | November 11
Welcome to the era of the mental pandemic, overwhelming pressure, increasing uncertainties, and just MORE burnouts (who doesn’t know it!?).
The exhausted society is overstimulated and hyperactive. Homo economicus markets himself, while quietly we shed bitter Prozac tears. We work under voluntary coercion and relax in compulsive freedom. Rest becomes unrest.

Emo | Anne Suurendonk | November 28
What happens when we let go of societal norms? The result is a space where emotions are fully allowed to be felt and shared.
In the performance Emo, choreographer Anne Suurendonk explores the emotional world of women. In a society where social codes often restrict women from expressing emotions openly, Suurendonk wonders: what happens when we let go of these societal norms? The result is a space where emotions are fully allowed to be felt and shared.
