True Storytelling (workshop)

Learn from a storytelling master how you can turn a memory into a story.

In this workshop, given by storytelling master Sahand Sahebdivani, you will dive into your own memories. During 2,5 hours you will learn how you can take a memory and say something with it. Sahand will teach you how to make a story out of it.

The workshop is both suitable for those interested in storytelling without any experience as well as storytellers looking for new ways to approach their art.

Length of the workshop: 2,5 hours.

About Sahand Sahebdivani

Sahand was born in Iran but fled at the age of three to the Netherlands with his parents. He was trained as a storyteller in the Dutch Royal Institute of the Tropics. In 2004 he opened the Mezrab Cultural Center, which has grown to one of the most important stages of storytelling in the world. In 2014 the Dutch storytelling community awarded him the title Storyteller of the Year. He currently tours Europe and outside different storytelling shows and is co-director of The Amsterdam Storytelling Festival.
