Soula Notos ism Theater Kikker
Soula's Storytelling Nights: No Shame

Funny, sad, scary, sweet, unbelievable, comforting stories: that's what Soula's Storytelling Nights are all about. Make yourself at home and listen to stories from all over the word!
So on Tuesday April 15th come and listen to experienced storytellers and talented newcomers tell their tales. And if inspiration strikes, audience-members are invited to put their name in a hat. At the end of the night two names will be picked at random and these two lucky birds will get to share their story. True stories about crazy families, horrible dates, myths, folk tales, newly written stories: anything goes as long as the stories are told and not read from paper.
After four beautiful and personal storytelling evenings in season 23-24, Soula and Theater Kikker will also present four editions in the new theater season. Soula welcomes you to attend her last storytelling evening on April 15th.
Soula's Storytelling Nights are in English.
Geoffrey van der Ven beholds the world with a curious eye, bringing sharp, critical, and activist stories to life. His spoken word and theatre work is personal, centering on queer and BIPOC identities, inviting audiences to pause and reflect. Fresh off his tour with his solo show Het is niet nieuw, which explores the queer history of Africa, Geoffrey is now creating a new show, What's the Difference, focused on queer shame and set to hit the stage in 2026.

Danni Cullen
Danni Cullen is an Irish storyteller, born in Dublin but lives all over; she is a bit of a gypsy pirate. She has been an elf for Santa Claus, she has tried to join the circus, lived with monks in India, been stranded in Mexico and was a tour guide in Spain. Yes, she has a few stories to tell! Theatre, circus and telling stories of all kind is her passion! She loves a story that reminds us to play, laugh at ourselves and perhaps to find a bit of comedy in our tragedies!

Chiara Fresia
"I am a student, a friend, a sister, a migrant, a messy, curious, playful, and always-questioning human being. I like basking in the sun, cuddling with my friends, dancing, being in community spaces, and shouting for a free Palestine."

Rawan Boustany
Rawan is aggressively unserious even in the most serious situations. Her therapist says that she always laughs when speaking about her pain. Hailing from Lebanon, Rawan grew up in the United Arab Emirates, then lived in Warsaw for some time before moving to Utrecht where she hopes to find her voice through storytelling.
