and the world slips out of balance.
And If I Could K!ll is a refusal of fixed ways of seeing. It explores the entangled politics of revenge, revolt, and warfare as lived, embodied forces — systems that enter the body, shape it, discipline it and eventually begin to unravel through it. Moving across Germany, the Netherlands, Indonesia, and West Papua, the piece traces overlapping histories, bleeding borders, and fractured timelines. Binary categories begin to fail: good or evil, victim or perpetrator, order or chaos no longer hold. There is no safe position. No innocent gaze. Everything obvious shudders in the blink of a twitching eye.
And If I Could K!ll invites you to an unstable zone beyond moral comfort — a space that refuses easy answers, where pleasure and seduction flirt with terror and danger, where stable meaning can be unsettled at any moment, and destruction allows for something new to arise. It asks us to bear witness: What happens when systems fail — and the body keeps going?

The use of (fake) guns

Soraya Reichl is a theatre maker, performer, curator, educator, and political organizer, based in Berlin and Amsterdam. Her artistic practice is rooted in collective spaces of care, concern and pleasure. In times of ongoing crises, she commits to telling stories that resist erasure and treats imagination as a site of political force. She is drawn to zones where pleasure meets danger — where the body vibrates with both risk and possibility. Her work takes different forms, including public interventions, audio-walk performances, black box pieces, installations and workshops. Any space that invites us to relate, create trouble and wrestle with the world together, is where she wants to be.
Soraya’s work has been presented at Sophiensæle, Haus der Berliner Festspiele, and Theater an der Parkaue in Berlin. As a performer, she has taken part in multiple productions at the Maxim Gorki Theater.
Over ENTER Festival
ENTER is hét landelijke (en ook een beetje voor België) afstudeerfestival van Ensemble Nieuwe Theaterwerkers. Een afstudeerfestival voor en door nieuwe theaterwerkers. Jaarlijks faciliteren we de ontmoeting van afstuderende theaterwerkers met elkaar, publiek en het werkveld. Elk jaar doen we dat op een andere locatie in het land, want het culturele veld kent geen centrum. In 2023 begonnen we in Amsterdam, in 2024 waren we in Den Haag, in 2025 was het de beurt aan Groningen en in 2026 strijken we neer in Utrecht!
ENTER is er om te voelen wie jouw lichting is en wat jullie kenmerkt. ENTER is er om elkaars werk, inspiraties en visie te ontmoeten. ENTER is er om een nieuw netwerk op te bouwen met mensen waar je misschien nog je leven lang mee zult werken. ENTER is er om een (eerste) ontmoeting met professionals uit het veld te organiseren. ENTER is er om je te laten voelen dat er een werkveld is dat wél op je zit te wachten. ENTER is er om samen met al je lichtingsgenoten je tijd op school knallend af te sluiten. ENTER is een afscheidsfeest en een housewarming in één.
