Playing with the wind, getting lost in the storm
Tochtgat is the third performance conceived and created by Jef Van gestel and Peter Vandemeulebroecke together. Also in Kadrage and Deeg, both of which were performed at Tweetakt, the duo took the audience into an endless, wild fantasy. Delightful is the men’s dry-comic interplay, acting together but also annoying each other. Wilt Hole is superior, wordless slapstick. And the storm that rages here on stage also tells of the mess people cause: at the end, the men are surrounded by a wall of flying plastic.
