During ENTER, a variety of works will be on display in the exhibition EXPO. Stop by the foyer of Theater Kikker and be surprised by the students of the HKU Master Scenography programme.
In this work we share the experience of a nightwalk on the island Terschelling. Long exposure photographs show the trails of our movements and highlight the landscape and the dunes. Video and recored audio create abstract scenes in the lanscape displaying how these images were created and giving insight in what you cannot always tell from a picture.
Pim Visser and Jana Lüthi are graduating scenography students at HKU University of the Arts Utrecht.
- Pim comes from the Netherlands and studied Industrial Design at the University of Technology Eindhoven.
- Jana is from Switzerland and studied Trends & Identity at the ZHdK Zurich.
Together, their work focuses on perception and everyday life, exploring unnoticed routines and cultural behaviors. They are interested in how environments shape awareness, emotion, and thought. By simplifying spaces, they show things we usually don’t notice and invite people to see their surroundings differently.

Re-Member - Gabrielle Chen
This installation invites you to glimpse these lingering presences through the act of remembering another's remembering, an invitation to be in between then and now, here and there.
The theatre holds endless fantasies.
Imaginaries were once brought to life…
Even when the set was long taken down, audiences left and makers moved on, the phantom lingers…
To put it back together, just for a moment.
A glimpse. 15 minutes of eternal instants.
Gabrielle (ZihCing) Chen is a Taiwanese theatre maker now based in the Netherlands. She's a scenographer who’s venturing into more performance making and installations for the past few years. For the past two years she’s been working on her Scenographic research on “Re-Membering”, working with the spatiality of the mind, and how it evolves through interaction of one and another.

About ENTER Festival
ENTER is the national graduation festival (and, to some extent, also for Belgium) of Ensemble Nieuwe Theaterwerkers. It is a graduation festival by and for emerging theatre makers. Every year, we facilitate encounters between graduating theatre makers, one another, audiences, and the professional field. Each edition takes place in a different location across the country, because the cultural sector has no single centre. We started in Amsterdam in 2023, moved to The Hague in 2024, headed to Groningen in 2025, and in 2026 we will land in Utrecht!
ENTER is a place to discover who your graduating cohort is and what defines you as a generation. It is a place to encounter each other’s work, inspirations, and artistic visions. It is a place to build a new network with people you may end up working with for years to come. It is a place for a (first) meeting with professionals from the field. It is a place to remind you that there is a professional world waiting for you. It is a place to celebrate the end of your time in school together with your fellow graduates in unforgettable fashion.
ENTER is both a farewell party and a housewarming.
