We live in a perfect world where we keep pushing ourselves and others into boxes. Do this! Do that! Look like this! Not like that! You can, you can't! In search of liberation from these expectations, Let’s go Barbie presents a dance of liberation: a physical exploration where everything we have been taught is revisited and rewritten.

Sue-Ann lives in a perfect world. A world where everything goes as she has learned. A world where she feels at home. But suddenly something changes, and nothing is as it seemed. What follows is a heartwarming attempt to escape from her perfect world.

Let’s go Barbie is an invitation for anyone who wants to free themselves from the oppressive expectations of others or themselves. It is a visual, musical, and physical performance about fitting in and feeling free in a world that sometimes forgets that you have a heart.
