In collaboration with the Amsterdam Fringe Festival, What You See proudly launches the brand-new I See You Award. During Amsterdam Fringe, programmer Vera Bonder and co-curator Sunni Lamin Barrow attended several performances that explored the theme of humanity.
Our team attended fifteen performances that explored the theme of Queer Stories. One artist will be honored with the award and receive a special invitation: a spot at the What You See Festival, along with a mentorship to co-create an inspiring context program.The I See You Award celebrates work that resonates with our festival theme, Keepers of Humanity—a tribute to those who preserve, embody, and challenge what it means to be human.
