About us
Theater Kikker is a quirky theatre in the city centre of Utrecht, specialised in theatre, performance, modern dance and youth theatre.
We are a multidisciplinary stage for young talent and theatre makers with a unique voice in our contemporary society. Our program is diverse, inclusive, daring and raw. We explore the boundaries of theatre, don’t shy away from experiment and present edgy projects off the beaten track.
Theater Kikker is an important link in the chain from theatre school to the big stage. We are the place for young theatre makers and with this, we differentiate ourselves from other theatres. At our theatre, you’ll meet the talent of the future, literally. We regularly organise introductions and Q&A’s with theatre makers.
Some of the performances are of interest to non-Dutch speakers. These are labelled as ‘Language no Problem’.
